Some long drives through Texas to stop off at Del Rio for a night out in Ciudad Acuņa across the border in Mexico. Then on to New Orleans in Louisiana where I got my fix of jazz and partying!

Nearing the end of the six-week Trek, the last main stop was in Washington. We visited many of the sights there including the White House, Washington Moument, The US Capitol and the Smithsonian Museums. We also looked around the poignant Holocaust Museum.

More farewells in New York but I still had time to spare on the day after to go and see at least some of the sights including the Statue of Liberty, Times Square and the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.
